SAN COSME STREET PAVING IN BURGOS, SPAIN

The Dorada Urbión sandstone has tough petrographic characteristics that allow it to be placed on paving, depending on the use to be made of it. Large thickness formats were used, combined with other limestone for the paving of the San Cosme street, in Burgos. This street is semi-pedestrian, since the loading and unloading of goods is allowed, and it ends at the Gothic church of San Cosme y San Damián, built in white limestone.
