KAFD IN RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA

One of the most ambitious project carried out by Areniscas Stone, designed by the british architect Sir Norman Foster, who chose the sandstone Dorada Urbión for its perfect integration with the Middle East ecosystem, in addition to presenting adequate physical properties to resist the extremely high temperatures of Saudi Arabia, up to 50º C.

The King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) is the financial heart of the Saudi capital, and about 6,000 square meters of ventilated façade cladding were installed in the characteristic beige-yellow colour of this Pinares sandstone.
