Red-cream sandstone with brown-wooden veining with varying intensity as a function of the iron content in the rock.
Its grain is medium-thick and its composition is mainly quartzitic with minimum amounts of micas (muscovite and biotite) and opaque minerals.
This rock is easily cut and is very beautiful. A series of sediment levels from the early cretaceous period from the Pinares region (Burgos) can be found.
In the company workshop, the blocks are cut into different sizes with a wide range of surface finishes such as sawn cut, bushhammered, pitch-faced, etc. .
